The development and asset management component of these assets is managed in house – with various exciting property development opportunities being acquired on a consistent basis. Areas of focus is highly densified areas in Gauteng, with other cities to be considered on a case by case basis. Joel Rosen, Managing Director
Joel joined the company in 2012 with his home base in Johannesburg. Joel has been involved in the South African property industry for the past 13 years and been involved in a number of well-known large property transactions. Previous property experience included starting his career at Zenprop Property Holdings (Ltd), where in an assistant role, Joel was involved in raising funding for the various property transactions.
Subsequently, he joined Nedbank Corporate Property Finance, as an Investment Manager within the banks private equity division. During his tenure in the bank, Joel also had roles in the debt funding division as well.
Thereafter, he joined International Housing Solutions (“IHS”) in 2009 in the role as Deal Maker. IHS acts as the investment manager for private equity funds in the affordable housing sector. Joel’s primary responsibility was new deal sourcing, structuring and implementation. In terms of tertiary education, Joel completed his Bachelor of Business Science (Finance) in 2003 at the University of Natal with honours in Investment and Corporate Finance. Moreover in 2012, Joel received his MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science with a focus on finance, innovation & entrepreneurship.
